Situated right on Lake Michigan in the very popular community of New Buffalo, Michigan, The Moorings is a convenient drive from Chicago and is located in the heart of the harbor country. The Moorings is the largest of the area’s boating facilities with many amenities for today’s recreational boater. There is on-site, professional management that maintains the facility to your exacting standards. When you consider all the convenient amenities of The Moorings and the attractions of the New Buffalo area, you will realize it is truly a great home for your summer boating pleasure.

The marina is officially closed for the 2025 season. The restrooms near the office will be open all winter, the restrooms at the clubhouse are closed. All renter keys are off, owners are on. Water is off.

If you are interested in a slip to rent for the 2026 season, please contact the office.

From Chicago

Take the Dan Ryan expressway (I-90/94) south to the Chicago Skyway (I-90) to I-94 (Lake Station exit) toward Detroit. Proceed to Exit 1 (just over the Michigan State line) take Whittaker through New Buffalo. Turn left onto Oselka Drive. The Moorings office is located on the east end of the second condominium building after passing Harbor Grand on the right.

From South bend

Take Hwy. 20 west to I-94 toward Detroit. Proceed to Exit 1(just over the Michigan State line) take Whittaker through New Buffalo. Turn left onto Oselka Drive. The Moorings office is located on the east end of the second condominium building after passing Harbor Grand on the right.
